Top Eight // January 2018 Favorites

It's that time of the month again! No, not that time of the month – it's time for my monthly top eight. For those who don't know or are new here, each month I round up my favorite eight items of the month, from clothing to beauty products and everything in between. Let's dive right in!

  1. I'm normally not one for New Year resolutions, but I haven't taken my health seriously these last few years and it's starting to catch up with me. I'm trying to make small improvements, and one is drinking more water. To do this, I really wanted a water bottle that was going to keep my water cold all day, and I love this one. It comes in a ton of different colors and sizes, there's one for everyone.
  2. I'm obsessed with the teddy bear coat trend, especially this one from Tiger Mist. I first saw this I. AM. GIA coat on Urban for waaay more money, but thankfully found it for under $100 on Tiger Mist. You can always find things for cheaper, you just have to look around! If this is still out of your budget, there's a truly incredible dupe on SheIn for only $42 (and there are always more discount codes online). You can shop the dupe here.
  3. I've never had a high-end foundation before, but I finally invested in this Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation. It truly lasts all day, even with my oily skin. This was a great buy – I highly recommend!
  4. Okay – I know it's not spring yet, but a girl can dream! I am OBSESSED with this dress from Urban. It's actually been in my cart since before Christmas, but finally ordered it this week. This isn't something I would normally wear, I typically stick to neutral colors, but I just love the style (and yes, even the color) of this dress.
  5. I am super into the coin pendant necklace trend, and I found this super affordable option at Urban. Randomly, I've found that this style of necklace is actually quite expensive, so I was happy to find a $10 option! I actually initially bought this necklace from the Treasure & Bond x Something Navy collaboration, but it ended up being one of the worst quality necklaces I've ever purchased. Don't get me wrong, I love Something Navy and thought a lot of her collaboration was incredible, but this necklace was shockingly cheap looking, especially considering it was originally $40. I find much better quality necklaces at Urban, or even Forever21!
  6. This is really random, but finding the perfect white t-shirt is actually incredibly difficult, but finally, I found one that works for me. I love this one from Topshop, and it's not crazy expensive, which is perfect because I tend to have to repurchase white tees a lot.
  7. This one is a little different, because I really recommend the entire website. One of my favorite stores I've come across is Dazey LA. Why, you ask? There are so many reasons. Not only do I think it's important to shop responsibly, supporting small businesses and slow fashion, I also think we are in such a key time where women must join together. Dazey merchandise supports incredible messages, preaching for equality and female empowerment. Not everyone is comfortable with this, but I myself like to wear my beliefs on my clothing in hopes of starting a productive conversation, whether it's with someone who agrees with me or not. You can shop some of my favorite t-shirts from their collection herehere and here. I'm hoping to have a discount code soon for all of you to use, I'll let you know on my Instagram stories when I do!
  8. Target is so underrated, especially when it comes to shoes. Some of my favorite shoes are from here, and when I came across this pair in pink, I knew I had to get them. They are classic, but the pink color adds a fun pop to my wardrobe. I recommend sizing a half size up in all of their mules, as you should with mules from pretty much every brand!
I hope you enjoyed my latest favorites, let me know in the comments what's in your favorites this month – I would love to check them out!
